PROJECT V.

RENTAL ROOM RENOVATION.

This project is based on a low budget renovation. The elements we wanted to incorporate in this story are a mix of different locations and influences in the life of the client. As a single contemporary woman this space is not only for rest but also work. Earth and nude tones were the inspiration for this room incorporating diffetent textures like velvet for the accent chair, a linen bedding set, curtains to elevate the space letting the light get in the room, woven baskets and wood in the work areas to soften and warm the cold tones from the original color palette scheme. The client is a book lover, so wall shelving was a perfect option to showcase her books and have instant access to them. A tall headboard and picture frames on top set the main focal point of this room.

INSPIRATION MOODBOARD

Sketch it out.

Based on the concept moodboard, a quick sketch to visualize the proposal for the client is a great and a creative way to present an idea.

Concept moodboard.

This section we presented all the items how we expected bring to life the main idea. Adding a set of pillows in different sizes and colors, a nice quilt, a comfortable duvet and a pattern earth tones blanket makes the resting area a sanctuary for relaxation. A free floating edge wood shelves makes the look more organic and the iconic accesories add personality to the space.
